To attend worship at either church on Sunday's at the moment, you do need to book online before you come.
***UPDATE***: Face Coverings we understand have been dictated by the Prime Minister as being compulsory , unless you are exempt from wearing one, from Saturday the 8th August 2020.
We are waiting to see what further guidance ensues in relation to this. As we wish to continue to be a welcoming environment, and in common with other major retailers, institiutions etc, our staff will not be challenging people who do not wear a Face Covering. We understand people may have legitimate reasons that exempts them from the requiement to wear one, and we will be respecting people's privacy in this regard. We would ask others attending not to challenge people not wearing Face Coverings, but to similarly be respectful of the fact they may have a reason for being exempt which may not be outwardly obvious.
If you are exempt from wearing a Face Covering, their is no requiement to wear a badge or lanyard etc saying so, though you may of course do so if you wish.
Booking will be open for Sunday the 9th August at both churches, from midday on Wednesday the 5th August.
We are using the Eventbrite website for this, and you can book your tickets here, and /or go on the waiting list if we are fully booked. Please click the link below to book a ticket (subject to capacity):
Unfortunately, due to our limits on numbers we can have in our church buildings at any one time due to the COVID crisis, we will not be able to admit you to worship if you have not booked in advance, unless we have some free spaces left. As we cannot guarantee this will be the case, we would advise you to book before coming as we cannot exceed the number of people allowed in both churches.
Please remember, you will need to book a ticket for each person coming with you as well, so a couple would need to book 2 tickets, a family of 4, 4 tickets and so on. If you know someone who would like to come, but does not have the internet, please let us know and we will contact them and arrange to book a ticket for them.
From now on, each week the online booking service will be available from midday on the Wednesday preceding the Sunday service and tickets, space permitting, are available online until 6.30am each Sunday, after which the booking will close as we need to print off the list of attenders etc in preparation for the service.
As stated above, if you have not booked and there happen to free spaces left on the day, we will of course let you in if that is the case. We appreciate the frustrations of the ticket system and limited numbers, and will hopefully be able to remove the need for the booking system as soon as possible and restrictions ease.
There is also a service of Holy Communion on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm at St Katharine. As we are anticipating small numbers for this service, this will not be ticketed but will operate on a first come, first serve basis.
